Concerning the Remote Control
Batterv installation
Insert the batteries observing the correct polarities (, ©).
Use of batteries
Do not use rechargeable type batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types
(manganese and alkaline, etc.).
sAlwavs remove old, weak or worn-out batteries promptly and dis-
pose of them properly.
Never subject batteries to excessive heat or flame; do not attempt
to disassemble them, and be sure they are not short-circuited.
eif the remote control is not to be used for a long period of time,
remove the batteries and store them in a cool, dark place.
elf a battery leaks, remove all batteries and dispose of them properly.
Thoroughly clean the battery compartment before inserting new
batteries.
elf the electrolyte comes into contact with skin or clothes, flush with
water immediately.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
eDo not attempt to recharge alkaline or manganese batteries.
eBatteries installed with incorrect polarities may leak and damage
the unit.

Avoid dust.
Be sure the transmission window and the unit's sensor are free
from dust. Excessive dust might affect its performance.
eThe operation mav not be correct if direct sunlight or other strong
light source strikes the receiving sensor of this unit. If there is a
problem, place the unit away from the light source.
elf the unit is installed in a rack with glass doors, the glass doors'
thickness or colour might make it necessary to use the remote
control transmitter a shorter distance from the unit.
Never place heavy items on top of the unit.
Do not disassemble or reconstruct.
Do not spill water or other liquids into the unit.
