Controlling an Onkyo player

The gl
connector of the Onkyo compact disc player must be
connected Io the TX-DS898 (see page 14).
1. Press the CD MODE button.
The CD MODE bulton lighls green.
2. Press the desired operation button.
The butlons shaded in the figure to the left are the operation
buttons that can be used to control an Onkyo compact disc
player.
Operation buttons:
ON: Turns on and oft" the compact disc player (same as STDBY
button on the remole controller).
DISC @: Selects a disc in the CD changer
[_: Track down
_: Track up
[_: Play
D: Stop
<_: Fast reverse
[_>: Fast forward
@: Pause
OPEN/CLOSE --_: Open/close the disc tray
0, 1 to 9, +10: Numeric keys
RANDOM/R: For random playback.
You may also use the following buttons:
¥OL _iV: Adjusts the volume at the TX-DS898
MUTING: Activates the muting function at the TX-DS898
