NOTE: This Use and Care Guide covers several different models. Your dryer may not have all of the cycles and features described.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
before operating this appliance. The following is a guide to using your dryer.
Please refer to specific sections of this manual for more detailed information.
START
1. Clean the lint screen before each load.
2. Place laundry in dryer and shut door.
3. Press POWER.
4. Select AUTOMATIC or TIMED cycle.
5. Select OPTIONS and/or END OF CYCLE SIGNAL,
if desired. See "Additional Features."
6. Press START to begin.

AUTOMATIC CYCLES

Automatic Cycles match the cycle setting to the type
of load, and adjust Dryness Level for optimal performance.
See "Automatic Preset Cycle Settings Chart."
1. Press POWER.
2. Turn knob to desired Automatic Cycle.
3. Select DRYNESS to adjust how dry you want the load.
4. Select OPTIONS.
5. Press and Hold START.
To make changes to the Dryness and/or Options during
an Automatic Cycle:
1. Press PAUSE/CANCEL once.
2. Select DRYNESS.
NOTE: Dryness selections can be made only while
using Automatic Cycles.
3. Press and Hold START.
STOPPING, PAUSING, OR RESTARTING
To stop or pause your dryer at any time
Open the door or press PAUSE/CANCEL once.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel a cycle.
To restart the dryer
Close the door. Press and Hold START.

QUICK START GUIDE

TIMED CYCLES

Use Timed Cycles to set a drying time
and temperature.
1. Press POWER.
2. Turn knob to desired Timed Cycle.
3. Press TIME ADJUST up or down arrow buttons until the
desired drying time is displayed.
4. Press TEMP until the desired temperature illuminates.
NOTE: During the Timed Dry Cycle, you can change the
settings for Time, Temp, the WRINKLE SHIELD™ feature,
and End of Cycle Signal.
5. Press and Hold START.
TIMED DRY - Use this cycle if items are still damp after an
Auto cycle.
QUICK DRY (on some models) - Use this cycle for drying
small loads or items requiring a short drying time.
TOUCH UP (on some models) - Use this cycle to help
smooth out wrinkles from clean, dry clothes.

STEAM CYCLES

(Steam models only)
Steam Cycles use water and heat to reduce
wrinkles and odors in dry items. See "Cycles"
for more details on each cycle.
1. Press POWER.
2. Select ENHANCED TOUCH UP or QUICK REFRESH cycle.
3. Press TIME ADJUST up or down until the desired drying
time is displayed
4. Press TEMP until the desired temperature illuminates.
5. Press and Hold START.
