Play/Multi-disc Resume)
The player remembers lhe point where you
stopped the disc.
Resuming playback for the
current disc (Resume Play) r_zl
The player remembers lhe point where you
stopped the disc even if the player enters
standby mode by pressing I/Q).

While playing a disc, press • to
stop playback.
"RESUME" appears on the front panel
display.

The player starts playback from the point
where you stopped lhe disc in Step I.
• The point where you stopped playing is cleared
when:
you change tile play mode.
you do Program Play or Shuffle Play
you change the settings on the Setup Display.
you open the disc tray.
you disconnect the power cord.
• When playing a CD m_d DVD-RW (VR mode),
the point where you stopped is cleared Mien the
disc tray is opened or the power cord is
disconnected.
• When playing a DATA CD, lhe point where you
stopped playing is cleared when the player enters
standby mode, the disc tray is opened, or the
power cord is disconnected.
• This function may hal work with some discs.
Storing the point where you
stopped the disc (Multi-disc
Resume) r_wz [Z]
The player stores the point where you slopped
the disc and resumes playback from the same
point the next time you insert the same disc.
The player remembers the stopped point of
|he disc even after you play other discs in lhe
disc tray.
Resume playback points lbr up to 40 different
DVD VIDEO/VIDEO CD discs remain in
memory even if you disconnect lhe power
cord. When you store a resume playback
point lbr lhe 41st disc, lhe resume playback
point lbr the first disc is deleted.

• To turn offthe Multi-disc Resume fhncfon, set
"MULTI-DISC RESUME" in "CUSTOM
SETUP" _ "OFF" (page 72). Playback restarts at
the resume point only for the current disc in the
player.
This function may not work wifll some discs.
