2.4 Installation of Memory Modules (DIMM)

This motherboard provides eight 288-pin DDR5 (Double Data Rate 5) DIMM slots in two
groups, and supports Eight Channel Memory Technology.
1. For Eight channel configuration, It needs to install identical (the same brand,
speed, size and chip-type) DDR5 DIMM groups.
2. Eight Channel Memory Technology is enabled only when 8 or 16 memory modules
are installed.
3. It is not allowed to install a DDR, DDR2, DDR3 or DDR4 memory module into a
DDR5 slot; otherwise, this motherboard and DIMM may be damaged.
