5. The Initial User & Password Setup screen displays. Click in the Admin username
and Password fields to type in the new user name and password. Type in the
password again in the Confirm Password field, then click Next .
Important: WD recommends setting the user name and password fields to protect
unauthorized access to the Shared Storage Manager. Once set, record them in
"Recording Your WD Product Information" on page 3.
6. The Initial Date & Time Setup screen displays. Click in the lists next to the New
Date, New Time, and Time Zone fields to select the correct date and time.
Confirm that the date/time settings are correct, then click Next .
