TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Servo steering
The servo cylinder and guide valves are
built into the cam-and-roller type steering
gear. When the steering wheel is
turned,
the guide valves direct
the
pressure oil
from the servo pump to one of the sides
of the piston in the servo
cylinder. The
resultant pressure on the piston
side af-
fected
assists
in
turning
the
steering
wheel.
