Mounting iTEMP TMT162 Fit the field transmitter with the insert on the thermowell (1). Mount the fieldbus shielded cable or fieldbus connector (6) on the other cable gland. Guide the fieldbus cables (5) through the cable gland of the fieldbus transmitter housing into the connection compartment.

Devices can be connected to the fieldbus in two ways: • Via conventional cable glands • Via fieldbus connectors (optional, available as an accessory) Grounding via one of the grounding screws (terminal head, field housing) is recommended.
