The tape does not record.
• No tape is loaded Load a tape.
• Tile tab has been removed fiom tile tape Coves
the broken tab with adhesive tape (page 49).
• The tape has reeled to the end.
The system cannot play back the reverse side
of the tape in Deck A.
• The system only can play back front side of the
tape in Deck A. This is not a malflmction.
When you turn _ _ clockwise or
counterclockwise (or press -14t< or I_1+ on
the remote), "Not in Use" flashes in the
display.
• The system does not has AMS (Automatic Music
Sensor) flmction. This is not a malfimction
If the system still does not
operate properly after performing
the above measures or other
troubles does not described
above occur, reset the system as
follows:
Use buttons on the unit for the operation.

Unplug the power cord.
2 Plug the power cord back in.
3 Press I/_ to turn on the system.
4 Press m, ENTER and I/_ at the same time.
The system is reset to the factory settings.
You should set the settings you made, such as
the preset stations, clock and timer.
One of the following messages may appear or
flash in the display during operation.
Disc
NO STEP
You have clemed
all the steps you programmed.
OVER
You have leached the end of the disc wlfile turning
and holding _ I_ clockwise (or p_essing I_
on the remote) during playback or pause.
No Disc
Thele is no disc on the disc tray.
Push STOP!
You have pressed PLAY NIODE on the lemote
during playback.
Step Full!
You flied to pwgram more than 25 steps.
Reading
The system is _eading infmmation of the disc Some
