Step 3: Turningthe poweron, and setting the
date andtime
Set the date and time when using this
camcorder for the first time. If you do not
set the date and time. the [CLOCK SET]
screen appears every time you t[irll on your
camcorder or change the POWER switch
position.
Touch Ihe butlon on Ihe LCD screen.

Select the desired geographical
area with DID, then touch
[NEXT].

Set [DST SET] or [SUMMERTIME],
then touch [NEXT]. m

turn the POWER switch
repeatedly in the direction of the
arrow until the respective lamp
lights up.

Go to step 3 when you turn on your
camcorder for the first time.

Touch t_ (HOME) --+
m_(SETTINGS) --* [CLOCK/
[] LANG] --* [CLOCK SET].
The [CLOCK SET] screen appears.

Select [M] with DID, then set
the month with DID.

Set [D] (day), hour and minute in
the same way, then touch [NEXT].
O Make sure that the clock is
correctly set, then touch [OK].
The clock starts.
You can sel any year up to the year
2037.
For midnighL set il to 12:00 AM.
For midday, set il to 12:00 PM.
To turn off the power
Turn the POWER switch to OFF (CHG).
