Use the supplied connection cables (stereo) to make the
connections. If monaural cables are used, edge shots, bell
shots, and choke play cannot be supported.
The CY-14C has no BOW /BELL output. Make the connection
to the BOW/EDGE output.
Connecting to the CY-15R (Ride)
The CY-15R has two outputs—BOW /BELL and BOW/
EDGE—but normally you should use only one or the other
(except when using TDW-1 with V-Cymbal Control).
The output used and the corresponding playing methods are
as shown below.

TRIGGER INPUT
Nin
The TDW-1 with V-Cymbal Control, which is the version
with full support for
V-Cymbal, provides trigger types
exclusively for the CY-15R. When using the "RIDE" AND the
AUX 1 inputs at the same time, it is possible to play BELL,
BOW and EDGE areas allowing three way triggering support
(different sounds for bow, bell, and edge shots). For more
information, refer to "Playing Different Sounds with the
CY-15R's Bow, Bell, and Edge (Three Way Triggering
Feature) (p. 9)."
Oke
If you are using a sound module other than the TD-10 +
TDW-1 with V-Cymbal Control (such as a non-expanded TD-
10 or the Original version of TDW-1), then use either the
BOW/BELL output or the BOW /EDGE output, but NOT
both. When the two outputs are used simultaneously, the
two connected trigger inputs are sounded at the same time.
