Fade in/out function
Output level control
The fade in function enables the unit to start playing quietly, then
gradually increase the volume.
The fade out function enables the unit to end play with the sound
gradually becoming smaller.
■ Fade in

Press 11 PAUSE at the point where you want
to start play.
2 Press FADER to start.
The play begins with a 5-second fade-in.

Press FADER during play.
The play ends with fade out of 5 seconds, then the unit goes into the
pause mode.

The output level can be temporarily decreased by this means,
instead of adjusting the volume of the amplifier.
Press V LEVEL to lower the output level.

You can reduce the output level from 0 dB (normal level) down to
-12dBby 2 dB steps.
Illuminates
Indicates that the level Is reduced 2 dB.

The display returns to the original state after about 2 seconds.
When the power is switched off and then switched back on again,
the level returns to 0 dB.
To raise the output level, press LEVEL ▲.

Note:
This unit is designed so that the output level cannot be adjusted In
the edit mode to avoid changing the recording level.
Note:
During auto cue mode, activating the fade in/fade out function will
cancel the auto cue function.
