Safety Information

Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could result
in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH�
• Harness Mode: Use only with children who weigh
between 11�3 and 30 kg (25 and 65 lbs) and whose
height is between 85 and 125 cm (34 and 49 in�) and are
at least 2 years of age�
• Booster Mode: Use only with children who weigh
between 18 and 54 kg (40 and 120 lbs) and whose
height is between 112 and 160 cm (44 and 63 in�)�
• Snugly adjust the belts provided with this child restraint
around your child�
• Secure the top tether strap provided with this child seat
in harness mode� It is recommended that the top tether
strap is used in booster mode�
• Use only the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt system
when restraining the child in this booster seat�
• Secure this child restraint with the vehicle's lower
connector system if installed in a seating position that
is equipped with a lower universal anchorage system
(LUAS) or by means of a vehicle seat belt and by means
of a tether strap�
• Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the
written instructions�
• Register your child restraint with the manufacturer�
• The top tether must be used at all times when installing
the child seat in harness mode� Using the top tether will
improve the stability of your child seat and reduce the
risk of injury�
• Britax strongly recommends that children should remain
in a child seat with a 5-point harness until reaching the
maximum weight or height allowed�
• Use this seat forward-facing only�
• This child seat must be used in the upright position in
booster mode�
• This child seat can only be used in the following
classes of vehicles: multi-purpose passenger vehicles,
passenger cars, or trucks�
• In a vehicle with rear designated seating positions,
vehicle owners should be alerted that, according to
accident statistics, children are safer when properly
restrained in the rear seating positions than in the front
seating positions� To ensure your child's safety, please
study Vehicle Seating Positions on page 36 and consult
your vehicle owner's manual�
• To prevent injury due to deterioration or hidden damage,
discontinue use of this child seat when it is older than
nine (9) years or has been in a moderate or severe crash�
