Changing the Engine Oil and Filter
Service Interval: After the first 5 hours
Every 100 hours (more often under a heavy
load or in high temperatures).
Every 100 hours (more often in dirty or dusty
conditions).
1.
Park the machine so that the drain side is slightly
lower than the opposite side to ensure that the
oil drains completely.
2.
Disengage the blade-control switch (PTO) and
engage the parking brake.
3.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
4.
Drain the oil from the engine.

Change the engine-oil filter
Note:
Ensure the oil-filter gasket touches the
engine, and then turn the filter an extra 3/4 turn.
