 Air filter
• This model uses a disposable oil-coated paper element. This element cannot be cleaned with compressed air, doing
so will only damage it.
• Replace the air filter more frequently if you often ride in the rain or dusty conditions.
 Hydraulic brake service
• Regularly check the brake fluid levels. Replenish as necessary.
ROUTINE
• Check coolant level and vehicle
for coolant leakage.
• Change coolant.
• Check operation.
• Apply Yamaha cable lubricant or
other suitable cable lubricant
thoroughly.
• Check operation.
• Check throttle grip free play, and
adjust if necessary.
• Lubricate cable and grip housing.
• Check operation.
• Adjust headlight beam.
