Pull the film leader out far enough from the cartridge to
reach the take-up spool

Align the tip with the film
leader end mark O.
Notes:
• Make sure the film perforations properly engage the
sprocket teeth O
• Make sure the film is properly placed between the guide
rails
O.
• Make sure the film is taut as illustrated. Take up any
stack in the film by pushing it back into the cartridge.
• If the end of the film leader is extremely bent, straighten
it or cut off the bent portion.
