Periodic maintenance and adjustment

Checking the steering

Worn or loose steering bearings may
cause danger. Therefore, the operation
of the steering must be checked by a
Yamaha dealer at the intervals speci-
fied in the periodic maintenance chart.

Lubricating the steering bear-
ings
The steering bearings must be lubricat-
ed by a Yamaha dealer at the intervals
specified in the periodic maintenance
chart.
Recommended lubricant:
Urea grease

Checking the wheel bearings

The front and rear wheel bearings must
be checked by a Yamaha dealer at the
intervals specified in the periodic main-
tenance chart.
