CASSETTE
REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
WHEN
NORMAL
EJECTION
IS NOT
POSSIBLE
If
the
EJECT
operation
becomes
impossible
due
to
trouble
or
the
Cassette-up
Compartment
does
not
rise
when
the
EJECT
operation
takes
place,
the
cassette
tape
can
be
removed
from
the
unit
by
following
the
procedures
described
below.
Turn
the
POWER
OFF.
Remove
the
Upper
Case.
(Refer
to Section
4-1)
Turn
the white
pulley
of the
Gear
Box
by hand
in
a
clockwise
direction
until
the
Threading
Ring
is
in
the
unthread
end
position.
(The
Threading
Ring
moves'
in
the _
unthreading
direction.
However,
the
tape
remains
at
the
position of threading completion.)
5.
Disconnect
the
connector
CN1
on
the
CC-31
Board of the Cassette-up
Compartment.
6.
Remove
the
Cassette-up
Compartment
(Refer
to Section
43)
7.
Slowly
lift
the
Cassette-up
Compartment
with
Stay.
the
cassette
tape
in
it.
Remove
the
tape
remaining
in
the
unit
carefully
so
that
it
is
not
damaged.
8.
Hold
the
Cassette
Tape
Lid
so
that
it does
not
Wind
the
tape
hub
on
the
bottom
of
the
close.
into
the
cassette
by
turning
the
reel
cassette by hand.

9.
Raise
the
Cam
for
opening
the
lid
and
close
the
Cassette
Tape
Lid.
10.
Remove
the
tape
from
the
Cassette-up
Compartment.
11.
Turn
the
white
gear
on
the
right
side
of
the
Cassette-up
Compartment
by
hand
in
a
counterclockwise
direction
in
order
to place
the
Cassette-up
Compartment
into
the
up-state.
12.
Locate
the
cause
of
the
trouble
and
remedy
the
problem.
