4. Composer
Every Memory Card uses the power from a battery to retain data stored on the Card. If the battery is
exhausted, or there is no battery in the Card, the following message will appear :
In order for Memory Cards to function correctly with the KR-3500, proper settings must be made. For details,
refer to the Memory Card manual.

The KR-3500 contains a CARD slot into which Memory Cards can be inserted. Once a Memory Card has
been inserted into this slot, data from the Composer's internal memory can be transferred to the Memory
Card ("Save"), or data from the Memory Card can be transferred to the KR-3500's internal memory
("Load").

Transferring data from internal memory to a Card does not affect the original data in memory; a copy
is simply made.
<Handling Memory Cards>
Memory Cards contain a 'write protect' switch which can protect a card from accidental erasure. It is
recommended that the switch be kept in the PROTECT(ON)
position and moved only when you wish to
save new data onto the card.
