Check method of DC fan motor (fan motor / outdoor controller circuit board)
Notes
1
· High voltage is applied to the connector (CNF1) for the fan motor. Pay attention to the service.
· Do not pull out the connector (CNF1) for the motor with the power supply on.
(It causes trouble of the outdoor controller circuit board and fan motor.)
Self check

Symptom : The outdoor fan cannot turn around.
Fuse check
Check the fuse (F5) on outdoor
controller board.
Did the fuse blow?
No
Wiring contact check
Contact of fan motor connector (CNF1)
Is there contact failure?
No
Fan motor check (CNF1, 2)
Is the resistance abnormal?
No
Power supply check (Remove the connector (CNF1))
1Turn off the breaker and turn on the SW6-3.
2Disconnect the connector (CNF1).
3Turn on the breaker to start test run.
4Measure the voltage in the outdoor controller circuit board.
TEST POINT
1 : V
(between 1 (+) and 4 (-) of the fan connector): V
DC
TEST POINT
2 : V
(between 5 (+) and 4 (-) of the fan connector): V
CC
TEST POINT
3 : V
(between 6 (+) and 4 (-) of the fan connector): V
SP
5Turn off the breaker and turn off the SW6-3.
Is the voltage normal?
No
Replace outdoor
controller board.
Check the operation.
Fail
Replace the defective fan motor.

Replace outdoor controller board (C.B)
and fan motor (MF1).
Yes
Correct the wiring.
