CONVENIENCE

REAR PARKING AID *
The rear sensors are only active when the transmission is in reverse
(R) and the vehicle speed is less than 5 mph (8 km/h). As your vehicle
moves closer to the object, the rate of the tone increases. When the
object is less than 12 in (30 cm) away, the warning sounds
continuously. The coverage area is up to 6 ft (1.8 m) from the rear
bumper. There is a decreased coverage area at the outer corners of
the bumper.
Note: Rear parking sensors in the tailgate activate and provide object
detection when the tailgate is down. Reverse braking assist is
unavailable when the tailgate is down.
POWER RUNNING BOARDS *
When in auto mode, the running
boards extend down and out when you
open the doors. They return to the
stowed position after a two second
delay when you close the doors.
To switch the power running board feature on and off, refer to the
Power Running Boards chapter in your Owner's Manual.
Note: Do not use the running boards, front and rear hinge assemblies,
running board motors or the running board underbody mounts to lift the
vehicle when jacking. Always use proper jacking points. See your
Owner's Manual for details.
GARAGE DOOR OPENER *
The garage door opener replaces the common handheld garage door
opener with a three-button transmitter located on the driver sun visor.
The system includes two primary features; a garage door opener and
a platform for remote activation of devices within the home. This
functionality allows you to program garage doors, as well as entry
gates, security systems, entry door locks and home or office lighting.

KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD *
The keypad is near the driver window and illuminates
when touched. The keypad allows you to lock or unlock
the doors without a key. You can operate the keypad
with the factory-set, five-digit master access code or
by using your personal code. The master access code
can be displayed in the instrument cluster display and
is available from an authorized dealer. You must press
each number within five seconds of each other.
To unlock :
Enter the factory-set code or your personal
code to unlock the driver door. To unlock all doors,
press 3·4 within five seconds.
To Lock:
Press and hold 7·8 and 9·0 at the same time
(with the driver door closed) to lock all doors. You do
not need to enter the keypad code first.
To release the tailgate:
Enter the factory-set code or
your personal code, then press 5·6 within five seconds.

AUTOLAMPS
When the lighting control is in the autolamps position, the headlamps
automatically turn on in low light situations or when the wipers
activate. To adjust the autolamps settings:
1. In the Settings menu on the touchscreen, press
Vehicle Settings.
2. Press Lighting.
3. Press Autolamp Delay.
4. Press a setting.
