Fault in the AutoDos (automatic dispensing)
Problem
The following message
will appear on the
display:
Insert PowerDisk or
deactivate AutoDos with OK
The programme does
not start or a
programme that has
already started stops.
The following message
appears on the display:
AutoDos lid open
The following message
will appear on the
display:
PowerDisk empty
Deactivate AutoDos with OK
The message
PowerDisk empty
Deactivate AutoDos with OK
appears in the display
even though you have
inserted a new
PowerDisk.

Cause and remedy
The AutoDos function is active but no PowerDisk
has been inserted.
Insert a PowerDisk (see "Detergent – Automatic
dispensing/AutoDos").
If you do not wish to use automatic dispensing,
deactivate the function using OK or the
AutoDos button.
The AutoDos lid has not been closed properly.
Close the AutoDos lid and lock it fully (see
"Detergent – Automatic dispensing/AutoDos").
If the lid cannot be fully closed, check whether the
PowerDisk holder is lying flat (see "Detergent –
Inserting a PowerDisk").
If the same fault message appears again, call the
Miele Customer Service Department.
The AutoDos function is active and the PowerDisk
is empty.
Replace the PowerDisk (see "Detergent –
Automatic dispensing/AutoDos").
If you do not wish to use automatic dispensing,
deactivate the function using OK or the
AutoDos button.
The dishwasher was switched off when the
PowerDisk was replaced and it has therefore not
recognised the new PowerDisk.
Switch the dishwasher on before replacing the
PowerDisk (see the "Detergent" chapter,
"Automatic dispensing/AutoDos", "Inserting a
PowerDisk" section).
