GENERAL OPERATION OUTLINE
Turn on the power switch.
Automatically sets the scan mode and starts
scanning when the squelch is on.

When banery voltage drops, everything on the
J.
LCD blinks, and peep tones sound Irom the
speaker.
Scan banks 1 through 10 are displayed. II there is
any blank scan bank, press the number key to
light all scan banks, and to blink them in one alter
another.

Press keys 1 through 9. Scan banks 1 through 9
will disappear.
To hold the channel, press DELAV (when this

channel is not set to DELAV).
Press O. No response.

To release the delay lunction, press DELAV
again.
Press keys 1 through 9 and O. Scan banks 1
through 9 are displayed, but not 10.

To skip a certain Irequency, press UOUT (when
this channel is not set to UOUT).
To obtain priority operation in scan mode, press
PRI.

To release the loek out tunetton. press UOUT
again.
To release the priority operation, press PRI again.

To obtain the priority operation in manual mode,
press PRI.
Press MANUAL. When MANUAL is pressed
again, the channel advances. To select one ol 1
through 200 channels, press the number key and

To start direct search, press DIRECT, then press Press PGM to set to the program mode.
