Flow chart of operation when the power is ON.

Is the Hood completely closed?
(Is the CLOSE SW pressed? CLS = "L")
Otherwise, close the Hood.
Is the Mechanism Arm ejected?
(Is the EJECT SW pressed? EJCT = "L")
Otherwise, eject the Mechanism Amn.
Turn the Rack to detect the Rack position.
(Rack position detection signal : DCNT, DPOS)
Select the first disc.
(Rack position detection signal : DCNT, DPOS)
J Starts accepting KEY operation.
Press the PLAY key.
Select a disc input to the system.
(Rack position detection signal : DCNT, DPOS)
Retracts the Mechanism Arm.
(Operates until CLMP = "L")

Starts playback.
