You must have a Camera Quick Reference Card filled out and
posted in each Camera Room. This card will help associates check
important camera settings before each session.
When the camera is not being used, put the lens cap on the end of the
lens. This will help prevent damage and dust.
In order to prevent lens flare, always ensure a lens hood is installed at
the end of the camera lens.
Dust and dirt build up on lighting fixtures can deplete the overall light
output, causing exposure problems.
Cables can easily be unplugged, yanked, and snagged. New methods of
securing cables are in development, but taking care with cables will go a
long way.
Rotate the camera between horizontal and vertical positions by grasping
the camera handle. Do not rotate the camera by grasping the camera
body.
Rotating with the handle will minimize the chances of changing a
camera setting or unplugging a cable. It will also not put any strain on
the camera body.
As we continue the digital rollout, improvements will be developed to
help make using the camera easier.
The Technical Support Center is always available to help with any
Camera issues. Contact a technician by calling 1-888-5ASSIST.
