Canon 40D Digital Camera Overview Manual
The F-Stop Varies by Camera Room
Unlike the Shutter Speed and ISO, the F-Stop setting varies by camera room. It is determined by a
calibration routine that determines which F-Stop setting creates the best camera exposure for that
particular camera room configuration.
When the correct F-Stop setting is determined, it should be recorded in the blank space on the
Camera Settings Quick Reference Card. This will enable associates to check the setting before
beginning each session.
It is important to remember that the F-Stop varies by camera. In a multi-camera room studio, it's
possible that each camera room could have a different F-Stop setting.
