Notes
¢ Do not use CrO2/metal (TYPE IVTYPE IV) tapes for recording. It you do so, the
sound may become distorted.
¢ Make sure that the small record-protect tabs on the back of the cassette are not
broken off.
¢ You can record with an external microphone (not supplied) by connecting it to
the MIC jack. (When the external microphone is connected to the MIC jack, the
built-in microphones will not activate.)
Reaching the end of the tape during recording
When you start the recording on the forward side and the end of the
tape is reached, the recording will automatically start on the reverse
side. At the end of the reverse side, the tape transport will stop.
To prevent accidental erasure
Break off the small record-protect tab on the side which you wish to
protect. To record on the side after the tab has been removed, simply
cover the slot with a plastic tape.
