3-2. CONVERGENCE
(1) Horizontal and vertical Static Convergence Adjustment
on the Center of Screen.
Before starting, perform V. SIZE, V. CENT, H.SIZE, H.CENT
and Screen Distortion Adjustment rightly.
(Static Convergence Adjustment)
1.
Receive a dot signal, setting BRIGHTNESS minimum and set
CONTRAST to normal.
2.
Adjust H.STAT VR to coincide red, green and blue dots on the
center of screen. (Horizontal movement)
3.
Adjust V.STAT magnettocoincidered,greenandbluedotsonthe
center of screen. (Vertical movement)
4. When the V.STAT magnet is moved in the direction of arrow A
and b, red, green and blue dots move as shown below.
© When moving the V.STAT Magnet open or close.

© When moving the V.STAT magnet counterclockwise.

When moving the V.STAT magnet clockwise.
© When tilt the V.STAT magnet and open or close.
(CLOSE)

If the red and green dots do not coincide with blue dot, adjustment
with BMC (6-poles) magnet.
5. HMC and VMC correction for BMC (6-Poles) magnet.
© HMC (Horizontal Misconvergence) correction and motion of the
Electron Beam with the BMC (6-poles) magnet.
If the red, green and blue dots do not coincide on the center of
screen with H.STAT VR, perform adjustment using V.STAT at
the same time while tracking.
(Tilt the V.STAT magnet and adjust static convergence to open or
close the V.STAT magnet.)
