16. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. 2. Fill the Water Reservoir to the ‘MAX’ fill mark. 3. Place the Iron on its heel. 4. Plug the Iron into the wall outlet. 5. Set the Temperature Control Dial to the MAX (COT/LIN) position. 6. Allow the iron to heat up until the Temperature Indicator Light goes out. -
