Customer Rights
Our customers have the <valuable right> to receive service, free of charge, for the purchased product for 1 year from the date of
purchase, in case of failures while using the product.
But, be aware that the cost of repair service shall be borne by the owner even in the warranty period if the failure is caused by
customer's negligence or natural disasters.
Liability for paid service (Paid by customer)
When requested, customers shall bear the repair charge for the examples as follows even in the warranty period.
1) If the failure is caused by objects (Coins, Pins, Pens, Memory wires, etc.) stuck in the washer
2) If the failure is caused by improper use of the washer other than clothing wash and spin (i.e. peeling off agricultural products, etc.)
3) If the operational or functional failure and the product damage are caused by dropping or physical force
4) If the product exterior is deformed or damaged by organic solvent such as thinner or benzene, etc.
5) If the failure is caused by using non-LG Electronics standard parts or consumables
6) If the failure is caused by improper power supply
7) If the parts are missing or damaged because the owner randomly disassembles them
8) If the failure is caused by repair or modification performed by a person who is not from LG Electronics store or service center
9) If the failure is caused by natural disaster (fire, damage from sea wind, gas, earthquake, damage from flood and storm, etc.)
10) If the failure occurs because the "safety precautions" included in the LG Electronics user's manual are not followed
11) If the product failure is caused by other customers negligence
12) If water is not supplied because a faucet is turned off or water is shut off
13) If the failure occurs due to the problems that are not related to the product (outlet defects, power cord not connected, drain
clogged, freezing, etc.)
14) If the product is relocated or reinstalled after moving, upon customer's request since initial installation
