Precautions
° This unit is designed for negative ground 12 voit DC operation only.
¢ Avoid instalting the unit where:
~ it would be subject to high' temperatures, such as from direct sunlight or hot air from the
heater
~ it would be exposed to rain or moisture
~ it would be subject to dust or dirt.
* If the unit is placed too close to the car radio or the TV tuner, interference may occur. In
this case, separate the unit from the car radio or TV tuner.

« The unit has a digital volume contro! system. Do not turn down the volume of the master
unit too much as doing so may cause the sound quality to deteriorate.
* The output levels of the rear speakers wil) be lower than those of the front speakers In
order to obtain the optimum time alignment effect.
¢ For safety reasons, keep the volume of the master unit at a moderate level so that you
can stilt hear the sound outside your car.
* For connections, refer to the installation/connections manuals supplied to the other units
to be connected as well.

Fuse Replacement.
If the fuse blows, check the power connection and 'aplate the fuse. if the fuse blows again
atter the replacement, there may be an internal malfunction. In this case, consult your
nearest Sony dealer,
Warning
Use the specified fuse.
Use of a fuse with higher amperage rating may cause serious damage to the unit.
