Presetting Radio
Stations
You can store radio frequencies in the
tuner's memory so that you can tune in
your favourite stations quickly. You can
preset up to 20 FM frequencies and 10 AM
(10 MW and 10 LW) frequencies by
specifying a preset number for each
frequency.
POWER—+-ON
1 Tune in a desired station with automatic
or manual tuning.
2 Press MEMORY.
"MEMORY" appears and a preset
number flashes in the display.
(The last memorized number appears.)

3 Press TUNING - or + to Select 4 preset
number (1 to 20 for FM, 1 to 10 for AM
(MW /LW) bands).
4 Press MEMORY again. The station and
its STEREO/MONO setting are stored
at the preset number you selected and
the tuner returns to tuning mode.
5 Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each station you
want to store.
To erase a stored station
Store a new station at a previously used
preset number. This erases the old station
and replaces it with the new station.
tf you have trouble storing a station
Make sure "MEMORY" is lit in the display.
If not, press MEMORY again so that
"MEMORY" lights in the display, and then
proceed with steps 3 and 4.

Memorized preset stations
Remain stored in memory for about 10
days, even if the AC power cord (mains
lead) is disconnected from the wall outlet.

Stations
Once you have preset the stations, use
TUNING - or + to quickly tune in your
favorite stations.

1 Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly until
the band you want appears in the
display.
2 Press TUNING MODE repeatedly so
that "PRESET" appears in the display.
3 press TUNING - or + (or PRESET - or +
on the remote) to tune in a preset
station.
The station frequency appears and the
station begins broadcasting.
