(1]POWER switch and indicator
Press the ON side of this switch to turn on the power
to this unit. The indicator will light up.
(2)AUTO WHITE
BAL (automatic white balance adjust-
ment) button and indicator (green)
When the REMOTE connector of this unit and that of
the camera are connected, press this button to adjust
the
white
balance
automatically.
After the adjust-
ment is completed, the indicator lights up for a few
seconds.
(3) WHITE BAL (balance) selector
When the REMOTE connector of this unit and that of
the camera are connected, the white balance can be
adjusted with this selector regardless of the position
of
the
WHITE
BAL
selector
on
the
camera.

(4]PEDESTAL level control
When the REMOTE connector of this unit and that of
the camera
are connected,
the pedestal
level of the
camera picture can be adjusted with this control. (For
details, refer to ''Pedestal Level Adjustment''.)
(S|CABLE COMP (compensation) selector
The degradation in the frequency response and in the
output
level caused
by the camera
cable extension
between
the camera
and
this unit can
be compen-
sated for by operating this selector. Select a selector
position according to the cable length, as follows:
