High Beam Assist
The High Beam Assist is designed to help the driver see more clearly at night.
High Beam Assist can detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights
of preceding vehicles, then automatically toggles between high and low beams
accordingly.

CONDITIONS WHERE THE SYSTEM WILL TURN ON/OFF AUTOMATICALLY
When all of the following conditions are met, the high beams will be automatically
turned on (after approximately 1 second):
• The vehicle speed is approximately 20 mph (32 km/h) or more.
• The area ahead of the vehicle is dark.
• There are no oncoming or preceding vehicles with headlights or taillights turned
on.
• There are few streetlights on the road ahead.
If any of the following conditions occur, the high beams will be automatically turned off:
• The vehicle speed drops below approximately 10 mph (16 km/h).
• The area ahead of the vehicle is not dark.
• Oncoming or preceding vehicles have headlights or taillights turned on.
• There are many streetlights on the road ahead.

Assist operation, settings adjustments, limitations, and precautions before
attempting to use it.
