The oven vent should not be blocked or covered since it allows
the release of hot air and moisture from the oven. Doing so will
cause poor air circulation, affecting cooking and cleaning results.
Never eat plastics, paper or other items that could melt or bum
near the oven vent.
Baking and Roasting
2. PressSTART/ENTER.
"Lo" willappear on the loweroven displayif the actual oven
temperatureis under 170°F(77°C).
When the actual oven temperature reaches 170"F (77°C), the
lower oven display will show the temperature increasing in 5°
increments.
When the set temperature is reached end the oven is
preheated, if enabled, one tone will sound.
3.
Press lower oven OFF/CANCEL when finished cooking.

The ACCUBAKE system electronically regulates the oven heat
levels dudng preheat and bake to maintain a precise temperature
range for optimal cooking result. The bake and broil elements
cycle on and off in intervals. The bake element will glow red when
cycling on, the broil element will not. This feature is automatically
activated when the oven is in use.
ff the lower oven door is opened during baking and roasting, the
broil element will tum off immediately and the bake element will
turn off in 2 minutes. They will come beck on once the door is
closed.
To Bake or Roast:
Before bakingand roasting,positionthe racksaccording to the
=Positioning Racks and Bakeware"section.When roasting,it is
not neceeaa_yto waitfor the oven to preheatbeforepuffingfood
in, unlessrecommendedin the recipe.
1. PressBAKE.
Press the number pads to enter a temperature other then
3500F (177°C). The bake range can be set between 170°F
and 500°F ('/7°C and 260_C).

Duringconvectionbaking or masting, the bake and broil
aiements cycle on and off in intervals to maintainthe oven
temperature,while the fan constantlycimulateathe hot air.
Ifthe lower oven door is opened duringconvection baking or
masting, the broilelement and fan willturn off immediatelyend
the bake element will turn off in 2 minutes.They willcome back
on once the door is dosed.
For optimal cooking results, do not use aluminum foil.

Reduce recipe temperature 25°F (14°C). The cook time may
need to be reduced also. See the cookbook supplied with
this oven for more information.
To Convection Bake or Roast:
Beforeconvectionbaking or masting, positionthe racks
accordingto the =Positioning Racksand Bakeware"section.
When usingtwo racks, place them on rack positions 2 and 4.
When roastingwith CONV BAKE,use the roastingrack on top of
the broilerpan and grid. It is not necessaryto wait for the ovento
preheatbefore puttingfood in, unlessrecommendedin the
recipe.
