6-11. PART CHANGES
6-12. Components which have been changed are so marked by one of three symbols; a delta (A), a delta
with a letter subscript (A,) or a delta with a numeric subscript (Aj). A delta with no subscript indicates the
component listed is the preferred replacement for an earlier component. A delta with a letter subscript in-
dicates a change which is explained in a note at the bottom of the page. A delta with a numeric subscript
indicates the related change is discussed in backdating (Section VII). The number of the subscript indicates
the change number in the backdating section.

6-14, Items marked by a dagger (+) in the reference designator column are available only for repair and
service of Hewlett-Packard instruments.
