Configuring replacement lenses

After replacing one or more lenses on the camera, the new lenses must be configured. If possible, we recommend that you perform

and test the whole installation on e.g. a workbench before you mount the camera in its intended position.

Pre-requisites

The installation requires the following:

•

1 or more replacement lenses compatible with the camera

•

Camera firmware version 6.50.2.3 or later. If you need to upgrade the camera, please do so before starting the lens

replacement. You can read about updating the firmware in How to upgrade the firmware on page 75.

1. Disconnect power to the camera.

2. Replace the lens(es), following the instructions in the installation guide, available at

https://www.axis.com/products/axis-q6000-e/support-and-documentation

3. Connect power to the camera and browse to the web interface.

4. Go to the Applications section of the setup tools:

5. In the list of applications, check that "Lens Selection" is running. If the status is "Stopped", click "Start".

6. Click Lens Selection to open the application, and then Lens selection settings.
