(1) Grease nipple, drive end (D-end)
(2) Grease nipple, non drive end (N-end)
1. Clean the grease nipples at the drive end and non drive end.
2. Press in the grease and quantity of grease specified (see lubrication instruction
plate).
Note
The shaft should rotate so that the new grease can be distributed throughout
the bearing.
The bearing temperature rises sharply at first, then drops to the normal value again
when the excess grease is displaced out of the bearing.
