 ANI-ST – only DTMF tones generated automatically are audible,
 DT+ANI – all DTMF tones are audible.
SC-REV
The SC-REV function allows you to set the behavior of the device when it encounters a transmission
during scanning. The SC-REV function has 3 values:
 TO – stop scanning on each detected transmission for 5 seconds (or other defined time),
 CO – stop scanning until the detected transmission is completed (when an active signal is de-
tected),
 SE – disable scanning when a transmission is detected.
PTT-ID
The PTT-ID function allows S-CODE transmission when the PTT button is pressed or released. PTT-
ID function has 4 values:
 OFF – no S-CODE transmission,
 BOT – S-CODE at the beginning of the transmission (the code must be transmitted using the
computer),
 EOT – S-CODE at the end of transmission,
 BOTH – S-CODE at the beginning and end of the transmission.
BCL (busy channel lockout)
When the BCL function is active (ON), then when the PTT button is pressed – no transmitting starts
but a warning tone is emitted.
SFT-D (direction of frequency shift in repeater operation)
The SFT-D function has 3 values:
 OFF – the transmission frequency is the same as the receive frequency,
 - – the transmission frequency will be lower than the reception frequency – the best setting for
amateur radio repeaters,
 + – the transmission frequency will be higher than the reception frequency.
OFFSET (frequency shift value for repeater operation).
The value of the OFFSET parameter is entered using the numeric keypad. Available values are in the
range of 00.000 - 69.990.
STE
The STE function allows noise elimination when the squelch is closed for direct communications.
Do not use the STE function for repeater operation.
