REMOTE
CONTROL
OPERATION
You can contro! aimost all the functions of the SL2710 video
cassette recorder from your armehair using the supplied RMT-318
Remote Commander.
BATTERRY
INSERTION
Open the lid.

Battery lite
\n normal operation, batteries will last for about six months. If the
range of the Remote Commander becomes noticeably shorter,
replace the batteries with new ones. When the batteries are ex-
hausted, the indicator will not light when the buttons on the Com-
mander are pressed.
Wf the Remote Commander is not to be used for a long period of
time, remove
the batteries
to avoid possible damage
from battery
leakage.
HOW TO USE THE REMOTE COMMANDER

Lights up when any of the buttons
'on the Commander are pressed.
COMMAND ON/OFF ewitch
Set to ON to operate the Remote
Gornmander.
Set to OFF when you are not going
to use the Commander.
Notes
There
should
be no obstacles
between
the Remote
Commander
and the REMOTE
SENSOR
of the recorder.
