EFFECTS LOOP
5.
RETURN: Use these jacks,
Left
and
Right,
to connect to an effects processor's
stereo output. If the effector is monaural, use the
Left
return jack. This will cause the
effected signal to be the same at both the
Left
and
Right
outputs.
6.
SEND: Use this jack to connect the BBE 381 pre-amp to an effects processor's
input. This level is approximately -lOdBu depending upon the status of the individual
channel's
Volume
and
Tone Control
settings.
CHANNEL SELECT FOOTSWITCH
7.
CHANNEL SELECT FOOTSWITCH: Use this jack to connect the BBE 381 pre-amp
to the
Channel Select Footswitch
via any two conductor type cable.
Note: The Channel Select switch on the front panel of the BBE 381 will be
disabled while the footswitch is connected.
CHANNEL SELECT FOOTSWITCH
IMPORTANT:
The front panel channel select switch will be defeated when the footswitch is connected.
The
Footswitch
is for selecting either the
Clean
or the
Distortion Channels.
Using the
front panel LED's as reference indicators, the "GREEN" LED will illuminate, indicating that
the
Clean Channel
has been selected. Depressing the switch will illuminate the "RED" LED,
indicating that the
Distortion Channel
has been selected.
Note: Upon connecting the
Footswitch to the BBE 381 Guitar Pre-amp, the operational channel will be that of the
last selection determined by the user or factory and is changeable at any time.
