Always keep shields in place. Disengage
PTO. shut
off the engine, and remove the key before adjust·
ing or unclogging power driven machinery.

everone

clear of machinery before starting the
engine
or
operation.

Use care when pulling loads or using heavy equip-
ment:
A. Use only approved hitch points.
B. Limit loads to those you can safely control.
C. Don't turn
too
sharp, and use care when
backing.
D. Use counterweight or wheel weights when
suggested in Operator's Manual
Wi
th
trail-behind
PTO driven
implements the
hitching point on the fixed drawbar must be in
li
ne with the PTO shaft. If it is not, the driveline
may pu II apart or create excessive angles when
tu
rning the tractor.
Check overhead clearance carefully before driving
under power I ines, guy wires, bridges, low hanging
tree branches, enteri ng or leavi ng bu i Id i ngs, etc.
On
e
standard wheel weight must remain on the
ri
ght rear wheel to help maintain proper weight
dist
ribution of the tractor and to decrease the
chance of an overtu rn.
Alw
ays avoid sudden starts, excessive speed, and
su
dden stops.
To assure the protection provided by design, the
pro
tective
frame must not be altered by welding,
cu
tt
ing, drilling, or in any other manner.

NSPORTING
Use warning devices (i.e. flags, S.M.V. emblem,
light
s,
etc.) which are approved for use by your
local
government agencies, when moving equip-
me
nt on public roads. Keep these devices clean and
in
good working condition.
Before moving on publ ic roads, or from field to
fie
ld, lock the brake pedals together for simultane-
ous
operation.
Red
uce speed when travel ing on rough roads, sharp
tu
rns, and down steep hills.
For
your safety, avoid
heav
ily-traveled roads when
moving
equipment.
Be sure hitches and/or drawbars are properly stabil-
lized before towing equipment. Be courteous, have
consideration for other traffic using the road.
