PROGRAMMING THE 91008
PROGRAM OPERATION
The magnetic card has two
parts,
A and 8. The entire contents
of one page of the memory (with the exception of the (
+
)e,
(
+
)
f,
X,
Y and Z registers) may be recorded on either part of a
card. To record (or enter) part A, insert the card into the card-
reader slot with the A arrow pointing down. Ensure that the
pnnted side of the card is facing the keyboard. To record (or
read) part 8, insert the card in the same manner with the 8
arrow pointing down.
NOTE
lf data is to be recorded
,
following the program
steps, the END instruction cannot be used on the
same page as the data; if it is, the data will not be
re-entered into the calculator memory as END will
stop the card reader during entry.
To record a program:

and press RECORD.
NOTE
The contents of the X register a re destroyed when a
program is recorded.
A
ne:vv program can be recorded over an existing program by re

peattng
the
record procedure with the new program.
To
permanently save a
program
recorded as program A or 8, cut
off the
corner of
the
card along the
tip
of the
A
or 8 arrow.
