THE KEYBOARD
ARITHMETIC KEYS
The four arithmetic keys,
+,
-,
x,
-:-,
are used to perform
operations on the numbers in the X and Y registers. The result
of the calculation appears in the Y register and the number in
the X register remains unchanged. The number in the Z regis-
ter is not affected.
A calculation using all four keys and
illustrating
some step-
saving hints 1s included after the
7
key has been explained.
Adds the number in the X register to the number in the
Y register. The sum appears in Y; the X and Z registers
remain unchanged.
