PROBLEM
The memory is erased when
the ignition is turned off.
ACD ejects as soon as it is
loaded.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The battery wire has not been connected to the proper
terminal
The ignition and battery wire are incarrectly connected.
The CD is upside-down.
The CD is quite dirty.
SOLUTION
Connect the wire correctly, referring to the section on
"Connecting Wires to Terminals".

Load the CD with the /abeled side up.
Clean the CD, referring to the section on "Cleaning CDs" (see
p. 7}.
The sound skips on a CD.
A track will not play.
The DSP effects are
imperceptible.
The CD is scratched or dirty.
Random play has been selected.
You are using a two-speaker system.
The front and rear output are reversed.
Clean the CD, referring to the section on "Cieaning CDs" (see
p. 7).
Turn off random play.
Use a front/rear four-speaker system.
Connect the wire correctly, referring to the section on
"Connecting Wires to Terminals".
The © and © of speakers are reversed.
The fader or balance settings are set all the way to one
side.
Connect the wire correctly, referring to the section on
"Connecting Wires to Terminals".
Reset the fader or balance settings
