@ MASTER VOLUME (+, —) button
Adjusts the overall volume.
© TAPE 2 MONITOR button
Switches the receiver or amplifier TAPE 2 MONITOR on and off.
© FUNCTION button
Each press changes the receiver or amplifier input in sequence.
@ CENTER LEVEL (+, —)/REAR LEVEL (+, —) buttons
[Transmit mode: AUDIO}
Adjust the center speaker sound level.
[Transmit mode: VIDEO]
Adjust the sound level of the rear speakers to the level of the front
speakers.
& DOLBY 3CH LOGIC button
Switches DOLBY 3CH LOGIC on and off.
© CENTER MODE button
When DOLBY PROLOGIC SURROUND or DOLBY 3CH LOGIC are ON,
use to switch the center mode.

The acoustic setting changes in the following manner each time this
button is pressed

Switches the delay time for surround each time it is pressed.
During DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND and SIMULATED
SURROUND operation, delay time settings can be changed from 16
ms to 30 ms in 2 ms steps.
The DELAY TIME button does not work with STUDIO and DOLBY
3CH LOGIC.
® V-SEL {VIDEO SRGNAL SELECTOR)/TEST TONE button
[Transmit mode: AUDIO}
This switches just the wideo signal in sequence, leaving the sound
unchanged.

[Transmit mode: VIDEO}
Operates when the DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND or DOLBY 3CH
LOGIC mode is selected.
When the test tone is ON, TEST is displayed in the display section,
and the test tone is output through each speaker in turn for about
two seconds.
® SURROUND MODE button
The surround made is switched in the following manner each time
the button is pressed:

DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND
@ SLEEP timer button
Activates the SLEEP timer. The Jength changes in the following
manner each time the button is pressed:
~ » 30 —> 60 — 30 — 0 (OFF)
| Unit: minutes
When SLEEP is ON, the display section is about half as bright as
when SLEEP is OFF.
@ RECEIVER POWER button
Switches the receiver power ON/STANDBY.
@ RETURN button
Press the RETURN button to return the receiver to the initial state.
TUNER is selected at this initial state. Adjust the sound level with the
MASTER VOLUME buttons.

The HITS function searches for broadcast stations among the
frequencies displayed.
NOTE:
if no sound is eutput after the RETURN button is pressed, make sure
that SPEAKERS buttons are turned on.

Use to recall settings memorized in the receiver AUTO SOURCE
CONTROL Suftens 1 and 2.
