Dolby HX PRO headroom extension system
(CT-J300WR only)
The Dolby HX Pro system controls the bias curtent during recording
and always keeps it at an optimum level according to the high-frequency
components of the music signal. It therefore allows excellent recordings
even of digital sources which contain a large amount of strong, high-
frequency components. The Dolby HX Pro effect is obtained
independently from the Dolby NR setting (B-type, C-type or OFF).
Furthermore, since the system is used only during recording, an
improvement of sound can be achieved even if tapes recorded with
Doiby HX PRO are played back with a deck, radio cassette recorder or
car stereo system not equipped with DOLBY HX PRO. To quarantee
optimum recording results, the HX PRO system of this unit is
automatically activated during recording.

du réglage Dolby NR (Type B, type C ou DESACTIVE). De plus, fe
systéme n'étant utilisé que pendant I'enregistrement, une amdélioration
du son peut étre réalisée méme si des bandes enregistrées avec Dolby
HX PRO sont reproduites avec une platine cassette stéréo, une radio-
enregistreur de cassette ou un systéme auto-stéréo non équipé de
DOLBY HX PRO. Pour garantir des résultats optimums d'enregistrement,
le systéme HX PRO de cet appareil est automatiquement activé pendant
Venregistrement.

* Relay playback is repeated as follows:

* Relay playback is possible for a maximum of 16 times.
* if there is a tape in only one of the decks, then it will be played "
continuously on 16 sides.
. Load the playback tapes into Deck | or Deck I.
. Set the DOLBY NR switch to the same position used for recarding.
. Set the REVERSE MODE switch at c> (RELAY} position.
. To stop relay playback, press the STOP button {mp} of the
operating deck.
