Pre-Motor Filter
Check the pre-motor filter each time the dust cup is emptied.
Clean or replace as needed.
To Remove Pre-Motor Filter
1.
Lift up on dust cup lid and remove dust cup from cleaner.
2.
Locate the pre-motor filter in the bottom of the dust cup
compartment. Lift up and out of the filter cavity.
Pre-Motor
3.
Clean or replace pre-motor filter. Replace dust cup in
cleaner, making sure dust cup is secure.
Models equipped with Filter Pad
Wash
the filter pad frequently to maintain
best
performance;
at least once every month.
Replace as
needed.
To remove Filter Pad from filter door
1.
Push down on filter door latch and pull door away
from cleaner.
2. Lift filter pad up and out of filter door. Dispose of
Filter Pad
old filter pad.
To replace Filter Pad into filter

Place new filter pad in filter door.

Replace filter door by placing tabs of door into slots
Latch
on cleaner. Rotate door up and against cleaner
until it locks into place.
These filter pads are interchangeable.
Filter Pad Replacement Options:
Micron, Code EF84, includes pre-motor filter.
HEPA, Code EF85, includes pre-motor filter.
Use GENUINE Electrolux replacement filter pads.
To Clean Pre-Motor Filter and Filter Pad
1. Remove the filter from the cleaner.
2. Shake filter to remove excess dust. {f necessary, the filter can be cleaned by vacuuming with another cleaner or washing
with mild detergent.
3. Reinstall filter after completely dry.
