V O I C E I N T E R A C T I O N
The digital assistant allows you to control vehicle features using conversational requests.
TO BEGIN A VOICE INTERACTION, YOU CAN:
•
Press the voice interaction button on the steering wheel.
•
Say the selected wake word.
VOICE COMMAND EXAMPLES
To see examples of what voice commands
you can use with different features:
1. Press the
button on the touchscreen.
2. Press Ford Assistant.
2. Press Voice Command Help.
3. Select a feature.

FORD ASSISTANT SETTINGS
To access the settings menu:
1. Press the
button on the touchscreen.
2. Press Ford Assistant.
From the settings menu you can do the
following:
• Switch listen for wake word on or off.
• Set the preferred wake word.
• Switch advance mode on or off.
• Switch phone confirmation on or off.
• Switch the commands list on or off.
• View the commands help menu.

troubleshooting information, see the Owner's Manual in your
vehicle's touchscreen.
ADDITIONALLY:
Some voice commands
may require your modem to be
enabled. For more information
about your vehicle's modem, see
the Connected Vehicle chapter of your
Owner's Manual.
TIPS:
• When using voice commands make
sure that you wait for the tone before
giving the voice command.
• When saying the name of a contact,
track or artist make sure that you say
the name exactly as it appears on
your device.
