Speed sign recognition detects speed limit
signs to inform you of the current speed
limit. Detected speed signs appear in the
instrument cluster display.
Speed sign recognition uses a sensor
behind the interior mirror to detect speed
signs. When the system detects a speed
limit sign, it appears in the instrument
cluster display.

L I M I T E R *
The system allows you to limit the vehicle
speed to the maximum speed limit
detected by the traffic sign recognition
system. To switch on the speed limiter
press the
button on the steering wheel.
With the system in standby mode, use the
SET + and SET - buttons to set the limiter
to the current vehicle speed. You can
adjust the set speed limit using the SET
+ and SET- buttons. The

be used to cancel and resume the limiter.
Press the accelerator pedal to temporarily
turn the system off. The system
reactivates once your vehicle speed drops
below the set speed.

Through a suite of sophisticated
electronic vehicle systems, you can
optimize steering, handling and
powertrain response. To change the
mode settings, use the mode switch on
the steering wheel. See the Drive Mode
Control chapter of your Owner's Manual
for complete details.
DRIVE MODES
Normal – Delivers a balanced combination
of comfort and handling.
Sport – Increases throttle and
transmission response.
Track – Provides a performance driving
experience. The engine responds directly to
your inputs and takes on a more powerful
tone. Use track mode when you desire pure
performance. This mode is not intended for
public roads.
Drag Strip – Provides a performance driving
experience tailored to driving on a drag strip.

Slippery – For less than ideal road
conditions such as snow or ice
covered roads.
Custom – Allows you to create your own

STEERING MODES
To change the steering mode, press the
button on the steering wheel. The first

press displays a pop-up message in the
instrument cluster display for the selected
mode and subsequent presses changes
the selected mode.
Normal – Default factory setting.
Sport – Slightly higher effort required for
steering with more road force felt through
the steering wheel.
Comfort – Slightly less effort required for
steering with less road force felt through
the steering wheel.
After selecting the desired setting,
you may feel a soft feedback bump
in the steering wheel when the
changeover occurs.
